Third World Cop

What a thrilling ride! This 1999 Action/Drama/Thriller was well written and executed with a great message. Crime runs rampant in certain areas of this paradise island but that doesn’t mean its a sore that needs to be ignored. Our main character Capone played by the infamous and celebrated Jamaican actor Paul Campbell realizes just that and runs into the mid of battle to save the day. Written and Directed by Chris Browne who usually works in the camera department, hit gold when making this special film.

Mark Danvers, Carl Bradshaw, Audrey Reid and others joined in to bring this story to life. With a run-time of 98 minutes, Rated R for strong sexuality, language and drug content and loads of violence you may want to keep the children out of the room for this one.

Decent story, sincere acting abilities and great commitment as well as camera framing, but our main character Capone seems indestructible as he doesn’t even get hit by a bullet once. Besides the poor budget and the fact that it shows; I think it’s the story that’s most important here. I’d watch it again and enjoy it all over again! Good job Jamaica!
